A fellow teacher at my school has been having major heart health issues over the passed several months. Anyone who's been through anything like that, or know someone who has, knows how difficult it is...and then you throw medical bills on top of everything, and life gets even tougher. In order to help defray some (even a small fraction?) of her family's expenses, my boss asked me if I could make up some of my flower pins to sell. Of course I jumped at the chance to use my creativity for a cause. Cheryl's (the teacher I mentioned) favorite color is purple, and I think these turned out lovely.
I hope they sell!
